About the Instructor Kimberly Sayre of San Francisco's Mill Cottage Photography believes in shooting from the heart…straight from her own to the hearts of those she
photographs. She believes that photographing an event or family is one of the most important things we can do. Our history is often told in photographic images through the generations.
Kimberly
was born in Rochester, NY (home of Eastman-Kodak, where grandfather, father and cousin all worked). She studied Sociology and Photography at Florida Southern College and started her business, Mill
Cottage Photography, in 2002. Kimberly has been involved with several photography associations, including WPPI as a print juror, PPA, and PPGBA.
In the spring of 2005, Kimberly received her PPA
Certification, and she teaches regularly for PPA programs. Her own photography business has thrived, and she was honored to be accepted into the PPA Loan Collection in 2005, receiving an Album Maker of
the Year Award for her entry, Jeff & Michelle.
She works from her studio in San Carlos, CA as well as her office in San Francisco, and concentrates on teaching, sharing, and studying with
other photographers as often as she can.
Kimberly specializes in weddings and studio and environmental portrait photography, and is looking forward to sharing some helpful tips and tricks to
streamline and revitalize your album design process, sales and workflow
